In our third installment of Telecompetitor’s Broadband Industry Innovator video series, I speak with Chris Konechne of Finley Engineering, who leads its fixed wireless engineering consulting, including working with CBRS spectrum.
The recent CBRS auction has highlighted the growing momentum of fixed wireless and we discuss the implications for the rural broadband industry. One particular application we highlight is smart agriculture, with Chris explaining how CBRS may help accelerate that technology, including using it for facial recognition of cows.
Check out Part 1 of our Broadband Industry Innovator series interview with Finley Engineering on broadband industry momentum and RDOF here, and Part 2, where we discuss the growing momentum of electric utility broadband.
