Cox Mobile and Internet Bundle

Cox Offers Internet Discounts When Bundled With Mobile

Cox Internet subscribers can now get a discount of $14.99/month when they bundle their internet service with Cox Mobile.

Cox Internet offers five speeds: The 100 Mbps service drops from $49.99/month to $35 when the services are bundled; the 250 Mbps service goes from $69.99 to $55.00; the 500 Mbps goes from $89.99 to $75; and 1 Gbps from $109.99 to $95.

The 250 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps tiers include Wi-Fi equipment for two years. The 100 Mbps tier also offers Wi-Fi, but no term is included on the pricing page. None of the lower four tiers have annual contracts or cancellation fees. The  2 Gbps service  is not available in all areas, and discounts, annual contracts or cancellations fees are not specified.

“Helping our customers save money by combining their mobile and internet services underscores Cox’s commitment to providing an affordable, connected experience,” Mark Lawson, Cox Communications’ executive vice president, chief marketing and sales officer, said. “Our customers can continue to stay connected at home or on the go, with the speed and reliability they expect from their trusted connectivity provider.”

Cox Mobile, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) exclusively available to Cox home internet customers, launched nationwide in early January of this year. It is supported by more than 4 million hotspots and features a Wi-Fi-first approach. There are two plans: Pay As You Gig is $15/month per gig and Gig Unlimited is $45/month. Both offer unlimited talk and text with no term agreements.

Cox announced a pilot launch of the service a year ago today in Hampton Roads, VA; Omaha, NE, and Las Vegas.
