Ritter Communications Launches Ultra-High-Speed Internet in Hot Springs

Jonesboro, AR. – (September 12, 2019) – Ritter Communications, the state’s leading broadband provider, announced today that the first Hot Springs customer to receive its state of the art communications technology and advanced business services is Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

In February, Ritter Communications, headquartered in Jonesboro, announced a $7 million infrastructure investment to give Spa City businesses access to the highest speed, 100 percent fiber internet, voice, cloud solutions, networking and television services by late summer.

Ritter is the first to provide this XGS-PON service, a 100 percent fiber, ultra-high speed connection. The telecommunications technology uses signals that travel at the speed of light, providing a fast, reliable and secure connection. Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort is the first of many Hot Springs’ businesses to receive the new service and additional areas will be connected monthly.

“This $7 million project will yield major growth in Hot Springs businesses,” Alan Morse, president of Ritter Communications said. “We are proud to partner with the Spa City, and power them through this exciting time of development. Our ultra-high speed connection will give Hot Springs businesses the competitive advantage they need and want.”

Ritter will celebrate with a Light it Up event at Oaklawn tonight. Gary Troutman, President of Hot Springs Metro Partnership and Ben Van Wagner, IT Director of Oaklawn Jockey Club will join Ritter Communications President Alan Morse and guests for the celebration.

“This is an exciting time for Oaklawn with our casino expansion and hotel construction as well as the  Hot Springs business community,” Ben Van Wagner, Director of IT of Oaklawn Jockey Club said. “Things are growing fast, and we need a connection with speed and agility to match.”
